    "I showed this to my mother (Ruby R. Tucker Pearson) and she said this little girl is Daphine, the granddaughter of Elizabeth Rogers Guinn. Her mother died in childbirth and she was a premie so GGrandma Guin kept her alive with hot water bottles and blankets.  She lived with the Guinns until a teenager then moved around to several relatives until she got married in Stigler.  She stayed with us at one time."  Clark (dated 5/25/99)

    "I sent this picture to Evelyn, and she aalso believes the picture to look like Daphene.  Some recollections:  Daphene was 7 months premature and only weighed 3 pounds.  Rosie was very sick after Daphene was born and she (Daphene) stayed with Grandma Guinn.  She was so small her crib was a shoe box, and she was so frail she was carried around on a pillow.  The doctor told Rosie that she should not have another child, but about 3 years later she did conceive again and died during that pregnancy."  Bill (dated 5/30/99)
